you want your daughter to see how beautiful she is... inside and out.
You know all too well the pressure that women experience to appear a certain way. And, you've noticed this same pressure is starting to take its toll on your daughter, too.
A sobering 89% of girls have dieted by the age of 17 to fit into society's thin ideal.
Young girls have reported that they are more afraid of becoming fat than they are of nuclear war, cancer or losing their parents.
35-57% of adolescent girls engage in crash dieting, fasting, self-induced vomiting, diet pills or laxitives to lose or control their weight.
You've noticed your daughter
falling into a seemingly endless comparison trap because of her appearance.
becoming cautious around foods that she once loved and looked forward to.
longing to be like fitspo's on social media who promote disordered relationships with food and exercise.
talking about going on a diet so she can finally fit into size "x" and fit in with the other kids at school.
doubting her worth because she doesn't look like everyone else.
body checking and picking herself apart whenever she passes by a mirror.
You want her to be free
FREE from the destructive body beliefs that so many women spend their lives fighting against.
And, you want to stop disordered eating patterns before they snowball even further.
Body-love Warriors is a weekly therapy group designed to help teen girls connect within a like-minded a community. A community that knows what's going on behind the scenes, because they're living it too. The teens gather to support one another, to learn and practice unapologetic self-love, coping skills, and how to move through disordered thoughts and behaviors around food.
This group will provide your daughter a safe place to share, be seen, heard and appreciated for her unique relationship with her body and with food. She'll have the space, support and time to form a bond with her body in the here and now, instead of getting stuck in a place of body-loathing (ladies, we know this all too well!) for years to come.
Imagine your daughter
Learning how to cope and tend to emotions by caring for herself, instead of trying to change herself.
Realizing and embracing the beauty that already resides in her heart and her mind.
Respecting, accepting, honoring and LOVING her body in the here and now.
Launching into young adulthood with a positive relationship with food.
The Body-Love Warriors group is a safe space and dig into the key ingredients to body positivity and lasting body love...
self-awareness, self-compassion, self-care and self-love

I provide psychotherapy for women and teen girls. If you feel you are in need of additional, individualized support, we can supplement your group sessions with individual sessions.
