I'm an anxiety, Body Image & Eating Disorder therapist in Horsham, PA

I want you to know that I get it.
Because I've been there.
And I know firsthand that the struggle is real.

97% of women report having negative body thoughts each and every day and women have been shown to have significantly lower self-esteem than their male counterpart.

Over 20 million women in the US will suffer from an eating disorder in their lifetime.

Ladies, I know that you know...

We're up against a lot.

Unrelenting pressure to appear and behave a certain way. The idea that we should have it all, and DO it all. Society's spoken and unspoken rules that steer our self-talk in ways that keep us small. Unspoken competition with other women. And, the refusal to allow our struggles to be seen for what they really are. 

It's no wonder you're feeling so stressed, overwhelmed and alone.

 

You're tired of the sleepless nights and wondering how in the world you got to this point.
You wonder when you'll finally feel like you're enough. Like you're worthy. Like you can love yourself.
You dream of a day when stop feeling so out of control around food. When you can *literally* have your cake and eat it too.
You're fed up with picking your body apart and hopping on the bandwagon of the next best diet.
You’re ready to start feeling like yourself again. But, it's been so long that you're not sure if you'll even recognize when it happens. 

Let me tell you a little bit about my story

I spent years buying into what my inner critic was telling me. To the point where she ruled how I operated (or didn't operate) in the world. 
I know what it's like to battle with body image and being caught in the grips of disordered eating.
I know what it’s like to relentlessly grind to achieve external expectations at the price of losing myself in the process.
Despite being surrounded by colleagues, family and friends, I've felt alone and invisible, like no one can relate. 
I've fallen victim to the comparison-trap and the fear of missing out. Yup, they're very real things. And they come back to haunt me every now and again.

And to put it bluntly...

It all seriously sucked.

I want you to know that I’ve done the work and I've healed my wounds.

Now, I’m ready to help you do the same.

 

I'm driven to help women get out of their heads, stand in the power and truth of who they are, and start living the life they’ve dreamed of... on their own terms.

I know that you believe things can change... You wouldn't be here if you didn't.

You can rediscover and learn to love and accept the true you; the beautiful badass who is dying to be seen. And, with a little guidance and support, you can heal the wounds from your past, stop allowing anxiety to rule your days, and learn to accept, respect and love the body that you're in.  

It's time to take action.

I grew up in a small town in Maine before moving to Philadelphia to attend college and grad school.

Now I live outside of Philadelphia with my husband and my energetic and adorable chocolate lab.
