Hi! My name is Bayley Saffier
I’m an EMDR Therapist who provides trauma therapy for PTSD, Complex PTSD and specialized betrayal trauma therapy.
Let’s be honest… being human, it can be a lot.
If you’re here, you might be carrying things you’ve never said out loud.
Maybe you’re the one everyone leans on. The one who feels a deep (seemingly never-ending) rumble of shame. Or, the one who disappears when things get hard.
Maybe you’ve tried to logic your way out of anxiety, overwhelm, or old wounds, and it only left you more tired.
You are not asking for too much when you’re asking for healing.
You’re asking for a space where you do not have to pretend you’re fine, a place where your experiences can be understood without judgment, and a place where healing is actually possible.
That is what I offer.
A room where you don’t have to apologize for your emotions.
A pace that actually supports your nervous system to setlle.
An unwavering trust that you know what’s best for you, even if that takes a bit of time to access.
Support that meets you where you are, not where you think you “should” be by now.
The belief that healing is possible for everyone, regardless of what you’ve lived through.
Maybe the past is showing up in ways you can’t ignore anymore.
Maybe something, or someone, broke your trust.
Maybe your body is sending signals that are confusing or hard to manage
That could look like:
⇨the tension
⇨the emotional shutdown
⇨the dread you can’t explain
⇨the numbness
⇨the sharp awareness of every little thing
Or maybe you can’t quite name it just yet.
Whatever your version is, what I know for sure is that it deserves support, attention and care.
The kinds of struggles I help with
I work with people who are navigating:
trauma, complex PTSD, betrayal trauma, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and the long-term impact of emotional or relational wounds.
In other words…
the things you maybe thought you “got over,” but your body definitley didn’t
relationship ruptures that left you questioning everything
feeling overwhelmed by emotions, or feeling nothing at all
anxiety that never seems to let you fully rest
feeling empty, like a burden or a failure
old ways of coping that used to protect you but now get in the way
difficulty trusting people, even when you want connection
sudden waves of shame, fear, or confusion
the sense that your past is shaping your present more than you want
None of these things are signs of weakness.
They’re signs you have been doing your best with what you had.
I’m drawn to working with people who have shown incredible resilience, even if they don’t recognize that strength yet.
These are people who have spent years adapting, surviving, and figuring things out on their own.
And, I want you to know that you don’t have to do it alone anymore.
How therapy with me feels
Therapy isn’t about pushing you, fixing you, or moving faster than your nervous system can handle. It is about safety, understanding, and trust.
I use a blend of EMDR therapy, parts work, mindfulness, DBT, ACT, and attachment-focused approaches to help you make sense of what you’ve been carrying and begin to shift how your body and mind respond.
Steady presence, not pressure
Healing isn’t a race. You set the pace. I follow your nervous system’s cues, not a manual.
EMDR that doesn’t feel scary or rushed
We’ll use EMDR when or if it’s appropriate and when you feel ready. EMDR can help your brain and body process memories and patterns that feel “stuck.”
Space for your truth (even the parts you’ve never said out loud)
You don’t have to protect me.
You don’t have to make it sound pretty.
Just bring what’s real.
Language that helps you understand yourself
I’ll support you to understand what your nervous system is doing and why, not in a clinical way, but in a way that gives you the space for more compassion for yourself.
Real conversation, grounded support
I show up as a whole person. Regulated, connected, always human.
Therapy is relational, and our relationship matters.
What healing might look like:
A little more breath in your chest.
A little more choice before you respond.
A little more trust in your own perception.
A little less fear of the next emotional wave.
Moments where you catch yourself acting from your present, not your past.
A life that feels more like something you can inhabit, not survive.
One belief I return to often is this:
We do not have to wait until we are healed to be gentle with ourselves.
That simple truth helps people start where they are and move forward with compassion and courage.
