It’s important that you know how we conduct online coaching so that you can decide if what we offer will be a good fit for you and your goals.

  • Food Freedom coaching is a non-diet approach to normalizing your relationship with food and improving your relationship with your body.

  • We do not help people with intentional weight loss. Why? The evidence is overwhelming that intentional weight loss is harmful, ineffective, and only continues to disrupt people’s ability to have a healthy relationship with food and body.

  • The body image work that we do is rooted in feminist theory. We like to shift the lens from being focused on the image, to the how(s) of being embodied in your life

  • This work is a practice. To start shifting narratives, beliefs, and behaviors we will give you tools to use between sessions. There’s a big difference between knowing something intellectually and feeling something in a cellular, connected, and embodied way.

+ Who do you work with in online coaching?

I work with adults who struggle with body image and disordered eating. I specialize in binge eating, emotional eating and putting an end to dieting cycles.

I provide in person and online therapy services to residents of Pennsylvania and coaching services to people nationally and internationally.

+ Who is binge eating and body image coaching for?

I offer body image and intuitive eating coaching services for women hoping create and sustain a positive relationship with their mind, body and food. Most women who pursue coaching are struggling with binge eating and body image.

Coaching is different from therapy in that it does not involve the treatment, or treatment planning, of mental health conditions such as clinical eating disorders, trauma, anxiety or depression. Online body image and binge eating coaching provides you with actionable tips and tools to support you in making progress in improving your relationship with food and body.

+ Who isn't online coaching for?

Online coaching is not a good fit for people who are actively struggling with an eating disorder, as clinical mental health diagnoses require treatment planning and a higher level of support.

Online coaching with Reclaim Therapy is also not a good fit for people who are actively pursuing intentional weight loss through dieting or "lifestyle changes".

The goal of Food Freedom Coaching is to help people normalize their relationship with food. Additionally, we want you to have a more respectful relationship with their body. Research and our work has shown, that the pursuit of intentional weight loss undermines your goals. This contributes to more disruption in overall health wellbeing.

+ How long will we meet?

Coaching

Weekly 45-50 minute coaching sessions with Sarah through a secure video conferencing platform, homework, and access to Sarah by email during business hours throughout the week.

Group Coaching

Weekly 50 minute group calls, a secret Facebook group and access to me by email during business hours throughout the week.

12 Week Package- $1700
